Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve
Whoever said shopping is for the birds could be right! Every spring The Streets of Tanasbourne hosts a display of birdhouses and birdbaths entered in "The Tweet of Dreams" competition to benefit Jackson Bottom Wetlands. Jackson Bottom Wetlands is a 725-acre wildlife preserve located a little over 5 miles from The Streets of Tanasbourne. The preserve is a tranquil sanctuary for both people and animals including ducks, geese, otters, beavers, herons and eagles. The Streets of Tanasbourne is proud to help build awareness for this natural asset of our community.
